Ancient Faith Small Group .:. Early Christianity and Social Justice

TUESDAY at 10 AM: Ancient Faith Small Group .:. How the Early Christian Church Viewed Social Justice

 CASC 2nd Floor Lounge

Uncovering the Ancient Faith: Join us to discuss how rediscovering the active faith of early Christianity can enliven our own faith today. Learn what it means to have an active, community based faith. How did the early church view social justice? And what did it do about it?

Have you ever read the Acts of the Apostles or the lives of the early Christians and wondered, ‘why does the early church seem so different than what we experience? Why did they witness miracles and explosive growth?’

Then join us as we seek to uncover just what made the early Christians so different: how they practiced community, served the poor, advocated for justice, and seemed to live a life completely devoted to serving God and their community.

This small group will focus on the practical side of our faith. Let’s have an open discussion exploring how we can revitalize our faith by adopting the devotion of the ancient Christian faith.

Tuesday 10AM, College Ave Student Center, Second floor lounge.

Ratio Christi is a Christian Club at Rutgers University that seeks to help students develop a deep faith that is their own by wrestling with the tough questions of the Bible, theology, and spirituality that are often encountered in the contemporary world.

Everyone is welcome at Ratio Christi Rutgers: we are a truly non-denominational club that is open to students of all backgrounds and faiths, as well as those who are skeptical, or professed atheists.
