Hannah Fitzgerald – President
Hannah is a senior at Rutgers University studying industrial and systems engineering. She began studying apologetics when she joined Ratio Christi in her freshman year at Rutgers. Hannah has served as the treasurer of Ratio Christi and has presented on abortion and transgender issues. Her favorite apologetics argument is fine tuning and after she graduates from Rutgers she hopes to use apologetics as a career missionary.
Curtis J. McDaniel – Vice President
Hi, my name is Curtis. I am a senior studying Urban Planning and Design. I’m from Woodbury, NJ. I originally found Christian apologetics while trying to find answers for a friend, but ended up finding the great depth and validity of what I believe. My top three favorite topics within apologetics are the reliability of the gospels, exclusive claims about God and Jesus, and arguments for free will.

Vas Avramidis – Chapter Director & Chaplain
Vas works in the Church as a community apologist and teacher as well as serving with Ratio Christi at Rutgers University as a Chapter Director and Chaplain. Vas had been teaching the Bible and Theology for almost fifteen years in various denominations, churches, and schools. He has a passion for apologetics and worldview studies, believing that it is not only important to know what you believe, but why you believe.
Vas holds degrees in Art and Theology. He has been studying art for over twenty years and has worked as a graphic artist, web designer, and art teacher. Most recently, Vas has received two art grants from the NJ Council on the Arts and has had a painting exhibited at the NJ State Museum in Trenton, NJ.
Vas resides in Pittstown, NJ where he is married to Jana, an eighth grade math teacher, with their two potbelly pigs Lulu and Charis. Vas is an aspiring homesteader, growing his own organic produce and chestnuts. Vas is also a community herbalist, primitive skills enthusiast, and a wild foods forager. His love of nature sends him out into the wilderness every chance he gets; Vas dreams of living in a Tipi, waking up each morning to the sound of singing birds and greeting the day with thanksgiving to its Creator.
Ratio Christi is a Christian Club at Rutgers University that seeks to help students develop a deep faith that is their own by wrestling with the tough questions of the Bible, theology, and spirituality that are often encountered in the contemporary world.
